Today, Action is in a completely different place than several years ago when the company was in the midst of the restructuring process.
The continued hard work of the entire Team allowed Action to make a successful turnaround and continue to grow with new projects. This required the company to make major changes to its business model in order to ensure efficiency and profitability post-restructuring. Thanks to all these efforts, positive results can already be seen. Action now has more resellers than before the restructuring, and has added new product groups, which are constantly being expanded. The company’s sales model has also changed, moving away from traditional distribution towards focusing on online sales. At present, Action has 600 e-commerce customers in Poland and abroad, runs its own projects and is active in the area of auction platforms, for which it also has development plans.
What sets Action apart and gives it a competitive edge is that it does not supply big players, but works with a large number of smaller companies. While this requires more work, it also involves higher margins, which makes the business more stable. The company’s product structure is also not typical – unlike other big market players whose revenues are dominated by IT sales, Action generates only about half of its revenue from IT distribution.
CEO Bielinski is not resting on his laurels. His head is full of ideas for new projects and business areas Action can enter using its unique know-how but he prefers not to talk about them out loud so as not to make life easier for the competition. Meanwhile, as foreseen in the arrangement, the outstanding liabilities are being paid back to the creditors, with more than 50% of the entire sum having already been repaid, following the payment of the latest instalment in June 2022. An early repayment of the remainder is planned, and once the arrangement is fully repaid, the company hopes to return to paying dividends. For Action CEO Piotr Bielinski, it is a matter of honour to finalise the repayment of the arrangement. Only then will he be able to finally announce to the world that although things were bad and many did not believe in the company, Action has really turned the corner.
